My name is Chuck Lawson.  I am the owner of Animal Tracks Taxidermy.  I have been practicing taxidermy for about 2 years now and do it on my days off from my job as a career firefighter, which I have been doing for the past 10 years.  I have been married to my wife, Jordan, since 2006.  We have 2 sons who I love to spend time with when I’m not working.  By being able to do taxidermy in my shop at home, I get to spend a lot more time with my wife and kids.

I have enjoyed being in the outdoors since I was a boy where I spent a lot of time with my dad.  It was that time spent outdoors that ultimately led him to beginning his own taxidermy business after dabbling in it as a teenager, but never really having a place to practice the art.  Several years ago, me and my dad took a trip to Wyoming to hunt mule deer.  Many great memories were made and I was able to harvest one fine trophy mule deer.  One hope I have through doing taxidermy me and my dad will be able to go on more hunting trips together and have my sons tag along with me one day as well!

I feel blessed to have what I have and be able to work doing a couple things that I truly love and enjoy.  With the Good Lord’s blessing, Animal Tracks Taxidermy will allow me to do something else that I am very passionate about.
