~ Big Game ~

If you hunt deer, bear, elk or any other big game, you have many options for preserving your trophy animal.  Also a trophy animal can be anything from a doe, to a small buck, to the record-class animal of a lifetime.  Whatever you decide to mount, any animal can be a trophy animal and whatever way you choose to have your animal preserved will allow you and your family to relive the hunt and share that memory for many years to come.  Some of the ways you can have your big game animal mounted are:

• Shoulder Mount
• Half-lifesize
• Lifesize
• Pedestal Mount
• European Mount
• Antler Mount

If you’re looking for something more unique, you could choose to have a custom habitat added to your mount.  There are many options available and they can add to the visual effects of your mount making it a more life-like scene.  This would be a great way to set your trophy animal apart from the rest!

~ Small Game Animals ~

You may be the kind of hunter that does more than just big game hunt.  You may be blessed to harvest small game animals such as fox, bobcat, coyote, and squirrels. If you harvest small game and are looking to have them mounted to display in your home or trophy room, again there are many options available to you.  Some of these options are:

• Lifesize
• Half-lifesize
• Shoulder pedestal
• Rug
• European

Whatever way you choose to have your small game animal mounted, they will need at least a simple base (provided) or a habitat scene which enhances the visual appeal of the mount.  Your small game can also be mounted to be displayed on a table-top or on the wall; you decide which works best for you.

~ Birds & Waterfowl ~

Birds and waterfowl can be challenging to hunt. Sometimes when you’re successful you may wish to have some of them mounted so you can relive those hunts and share the memories with your family and friends.  Again, like with big and small game, there are many options and poses available for your bird and waterfowl mounts.  They can grace your walls or be placed on a shelf or table.  Some of the ways that your birds and waterfowl can be mounted are:

• Flying
• Standing
• Swimming
• Hanging Dead
• Strutting (Turkey)
• Gobbling (Turkey)
• Custom Pose (Preening, taking off, landing, etc.)

However you want to have your birds and waterfowl mounted, we are sure we can complete a mount that will help you remember that special day for many years to come!

~ Fish ~

When you catch that trophy fish and decide you would like to get it mounted you need to decide how you’d like to do it:

• Skin mount of actual fish
• Reproduction

If you wish to do a skin mount, you’ll need to freeze the whole fish.  Its best to wrap a fish in a wet towel before placing it in a plastic bag for freezing.  If you can get it to me right away, keep cool in a cooler and do not freeze!

If you’d like to do a reproduction, there are a few things you will need to do:

• Measure fish (length from tip of nose to tip of tail)
• Weigh fish if possible
• Take several good photos (sides, top, belly, fins, mouth, etc. - up-close as well)  This will allow me to reproduce the colors of your fish
• Make note of anything unique you may want to be reproduced as well

Whichever way you want to mount your fish, we’ll turn it into something you’ll be proud to display and show off for many years to come.

~ Cleaning & Maintenance ~

Like anything else, mounts require cleaning and maintenance to ensure that they will last a lifetime.  We are prepared to help you out with this task whether you  only have a couple of mounts or have an extensive collection of trophy animals.  We can customize a cleaning and maintenance program for your trophy animals to fit your needs.  Some of our cleaning and maintenance services are:

• Inventorying, inspecting, and photographing mounts (this helps to keep up with any problems that need to be addressed and can also be helpful in the event of a fire or other natural disaster)
• Annual, bi-annual, or quarterly cleaning and maintenance (dusting, preventative treatments for insects, etc.)
• Checking for and remedying any insect infestations (insects that are introduced to your trophy animals are devastative and can destroy all your mounts if not properly treated)

We would love to set up a cleaning and maintenance program to ensure your trophy animals look as good the day you brought them home from the taxidermist.  Whether we mounted your trophy or someone else did, we can keep your trophies looking good!

~ Repair & Restoration ~

Do you have an older mount that is in need of some TLC?

• Aged or tarnished mounts
• Faded paint
• Damage from wear and tear, children, insects
• Mount that needs a habitat

We would love to take a look at it to see if its something we can help with.  In most cases, your old mounts can be repaired and/or restored.  After inspecting your mount, we can determine if its something that can be fixed on-site at your place or if its something I’ll need to bring back to my shop to fix. I would love the opportunity to bring that old mount back to what you remember.  A good example can be found in my picture galleries where I recently did a repair & restore job on a black bear mount.  You can check that out here.

~ Trophy Room Design ~

Who wouldn’t like their ultimate man cave to be a trophy room filled with animals they’ve harvested? This is something that I may be able to help you out with.  There are many different elements that can be used to accomplish this:

• Lighting
• Woodworking
• Rock-work
• Habitats and scenes for your mounts
• Paint
• Furniture
• Décor

Along with my taxidermy offerings, I have contacts with contractors who could help make your ultimate man cave a reality.  Even though this is a new venture for Animal Tracks Taxidermy, I feel as though I have some of the necessary skills to help design a trophy room that accentuates your lifestyle; imagine hosting your family and friends and being able to relive your special memories as your share the stories!
